GD, NO!! He did not trade in his Marshalls! The hotel requested that we use their gear, including their drum kit, as it is all dialed in for that room. All we had to do was "plug in" and play. I even used their wireless!!! (I did use MY mic stand, though!!). The sound was absolutely incredible! I mean, I could hear EVERYTHING! The monitors were perfect and the volume was excellent. They have a million dollar sound system there and a professional running it and BELIEVE me, it showed. It IS the MIRAGE, afterall! We had awesome sound!...EVEN through the Orange!! HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The way I see it, if its good enough for BB King, its good enough for Breaking Dawn! I have to admit, I was worried but it was one of the BEST shows we have ever played and that place is just awesome, albeit a SHORT show. SO professional. Really makes you appreciate the "big boys" and what they get to work with every night! I mean, WOW! I can only DREAM of that kind of sound every time we play!!!
