I don't mind spending money to preserve them I just hated the idea of twenty on top of the forty for two
more picks. I didn't count my Priest or Sabbath picks and I have two more fight picks so now I'm up to 32.
It's more practical. I'l be ordering them soon. Sacrifice a dozen beers you might drink. Thats how I look at stuff. Say if a concert ticket costs $100 bucks or I can go out drinking that costs the same I just figure what will be the better memory. The show always wins so I take a week off the beers and go to the show. By the time the show rolls around I spend that weeks beer money at the show. | | Budred wrote: | | Thank you. I never saw those before. Most of my picks are in cellophane and a few of them are starting to curl.
Too bad they're not 15 packs. I need 26. I"d hate to spend $20.00 for two more cases. | | HOT ROCKIN' METAL GODDESS wrote: | | Mark said he bought them from a seller on EBay. I just checked and they are under guitar pick display and it's 12 for $19.99. | | Budred wrote: | | Where did you get the Pick cases? Are they affordable?
I need about 25 of them. | | HOT ROCKIN' METAL GODDESS wrote: | | Well, strategic placement of the of the guitar pick/cases at the bottom holds the sticks upright. I haven't done anything with my Priest bounty yet because I'm stuck on what to do with Scott's two sticks.... I was thinking of hanging them from chains or something.
I keep wanting to move the picture discs so that they are evenly spaced, but at least they are UP and I can look at them. | | guidogodoy wrote: | | Ok, now I am inspired. My resolution for the year: try to put some of my collection up on my wall too.
We'll see how I do in 350 days or so. Looking at what you did, I'd be stuck on the drumsticks. How'd you get those suckers to stay upright in the box? Man, I see I have my work cut out for me. I think I'll start with putting a nail in the wall and contemplate its positioning for a month or two. | | HOT ROCKIN' METAL GODDESS wrote: | | We finally got most of our things framed and up on the wall
