Yes I agree Bev, I enjoyed reading this as well because it sums up exactly how I feel as well. Well done Tasnam! It seems some of us have gone through the grieving process quicker than others and gotten over our anger quickly while others may be stuck there for quite some time. I hope most fans can get to the acceptance phase before Priest comes to their town. But don't worry, they will come to the US, I'm just not sure if it will be this year or next year.
With the exception of having tickets, my sentiments exactly!
I hope the fans who believe the band might have been obligated to inform ticket holders sooner so they could alter their plans or return for refund/re-sell their tickets, give it some time. It is my opinion, telling the truth about this situation is about as difficult as finding Atlantis - lol I don't really want to know. I'll leave that nonsense to speculative reporters / journalists. If the band did not show up for a gig I would expect a refund. A new guitarist might mean a quality 'Priest gig after all! But hey. I might not get that even. Other than Mexico, there haven't been dates posted for North America. But I'm spiralling. So I'll leave my remarks at that, for now.
Cheers! It was nice reading your thoughts.

My thought process went like this:
Phase one:
Denial and disbelief - I can't beleive this is true! No it is just a spat...the will get over it.
Phase two:
Reisistance - This will rip the band apart, it can't work, this tour will flop and I can't stand to watch it!
Phase three:
Acceptance - OK well this has happened to them and other bands before, and many have survived (and many have not), but they still are going to tour. I do agree a guitarist is less noticable than a lead singer in a band.
You know Scott Travis came and somehow Painkiller become one of their best releases will new found energy. Why couldn't the sme be true with this new guy?
Phase four:
Commitmment - I will go see them!!! I am going to support my favorite band like I support my favorite team even though they also have team line up changes!!!!!!
Just bought my tickets to Wolverhampton on Friday!!!! I believe a new guitarist will add to the fresh sound to future albums.
I am committed to seeing them this last tour. Who knows after this Glenn and/or Rob could retire and the band could continue. (I do not know if I would support the band then/but maybe I would - don't know)
But one thing I do know, I would feel miserable if I did not go see them this last time, then the end for good!!!
I am committed - tickets in hand. Let's go new guy, make us ALL RE-committed!
KK Thank you for everything!

It is sad that KK Wont be doing the tour and he will be missed but Priest isn't all about KK Downing..
Priest will be coming to Wolverhampton (UK) In July and i WILL be going!! I do want to see Glen,Rob,Ian and Scott one more time and not even KK leaving will change this.
What i would be interested in knowing is if KK has contributed to the new songs for the new album ?
He is an important part of the songwriting team and to lose him would surely be a blow to the band.
