I don't believe that Rob is taking 50%. No way in hell the other 4 guys agreed to that!!! And secondly, if that were true, which I completely doubt, then why is KK the only one pissed off to the point of quitting? Obviously Glenn and Rob still have a good working relationship and I highly doubt that would be the case if this were true. Ian wants to continue and so does Scott. Why does everyone want to blame Rob for this?
And one more thing, IAN HILL is also a founding member of Judas Priest! Why is everyone forgetting that? We wouldn't have Rob in the band if it weren't for Ian Hill dating Rob's sister Sue and suggesting to Ian that they give Rob on audition. So let's give credit where credit is due! This is not KK's band, this is a group of 5 members that don't always agree on everything. KK didn't want to compromise or felt he couldn't compromise when it came to the direction the band was going in. Obviously, the other 4 members of the band DO AGREE. I believe they are agruing about the new album and the direction Glenn and Rob want to go with it. We'll see when it comes out.
What a terrible terrible shame. This is the guy who founded the band. Strong rumour has it that it was finance related. Rob has allegedly insisted that he took 50 % of the band's income since his return (ego.....) and this caused huge fractions within the group.
I am very very skeptical about it being a health matter. Or if it is, ill helath has been caused by the strife. It must be very very very bitter departure and KK would not take such drastic action lightly. .
