TOPIC: Why is Judas Priest considered a "Dinosaur Band"
[Maple Syrup] Thursday, May 05, 2011 9:34:06 AM
I have been a long time JP fan and seen them over 35 times in my life, but Judas Priest is now considered a "Dinosaur Band" for the following reasons:

A) They are not viable anymore and cannot draw to the bigger concert halls ala Metallica & Maiden.
B) Have been on a downward spiral since the reunion in 2006
C) No real comeback since Rob rejoined them. AOR was good, Nostradamus was a FAIL
D) Poor Management Decisions & no Marketing Plan
E) No release of any old or unreleased archived material either audio or video to get a fresh buzz about them... WTF Why?
F) Poor Ticket Sales in certain regions of the world
G) ReReleasing a 30th Anniversary of an Album, whats next Platinum Hits?
H) A farewell tour without one of their founding Members KK Downing.

Sorry but it all adds up. Im sure there is more and I dont want to bash them, but it is true. Unfortunately, they are in the same vein as the Scorpions, Deep Purple etc..
