Yeah, it was early evening (probably 5 pm local time) when I took that pic. I don't remember it too well, but that section was sealed off (between the wall and the fence) to prevent any further vandalism. As you can see, small chunks of it are missing. The professor told us that many people have taken bits and pieces of it and selling them to tourists.
That is really cool, Vail. Why is nobody walking, though? Early moring? Early evening? Can they walk in what appears to be the fence and the wall? Obviously, as many seemed to have tagged it.
