did you have your home licence also. so many people think the international licence is good to use, but its just a translation of your home licence, and doesnt authorize you to drive unless the other licence is with you too. that licence causes great arguments at car rental counters. I was lucky to get a drink at the pool-bar of the hotel without having to call my (ex-) husband then for "parental" approval.

Yes Orlando , Florida.
It was a fun vacation, we visited 7 amusmentparks in 10 days.
We went in April and the temperature was 28 to 32°C , we are used to 25°C in midsummer so it was hot for us.
We went swimming in the cold pool and the bartender was freezing his ass off, he declared us crazy LOL |

I really enjoyed it and it was the first time my husband had been to those sites. Grow up around it and you don't appriciate it. He dodged all the field trips etc...
We could see from the roof of his home in Kassariniani the acropolis in the sunset so it takes time to appriciate what you see everyday.
There is one spot, which now I'm told has steps built to it, but it's right outside of the accropoli area and the stairs are carved straight into the marble rock.
I call it the "stairs of the ancient ass bust", because they are worn so slick you will fall, if your not carefull! I went down behind a portly German woman and we all slide down the stairs on our butts. She was laughing and said, I will wait till the skinny boy is out of my way so I dont crush him if I fall! Yeah, thats true. Mind you, I did smuggle a camera inside, but I didnt dare to use it. There were just too many guides in there. Pity. The Cathedral in Florence was a wonderfull sight. Strat, you're right. I am NO big believer in "orbs" as anything more than just energy. I do not buy into the "ghost" thing with orbs. As for the graves, I just thought the setting was cool. It had a strange feel to it. I should think , somewhere on earth, there are graves that are thousands of years old (possibly tens of thousands?), if one knows where to look. It was a creepy place, so I took the shot.
I have been inside the prison. It is a VERY creepy place. I even sat in a 'solitary' cell. The Princess would not go in!! HA!!!!!!!!!!!! She said it was "too scary". We have a cemetary in this area that has gravestones that old, but for California, I imagine 1800's would be about as far back as they go, and of course you know most everyone in europe is laughing at this post!
We think when something is 200 years old, well shit that's old, but my X-husband grew up in a house that was built on top of a 400 year old already existing house belonging to his grandmother and grandfather. LOL | | Deep Freeze wrote: | | With pleasure, my dear!! Here is a picture of the old graveyard that we saw when we took the city tour. All the graves were dated in the mid-1800's! Hell yah Ace! But the problem is that over here in the U.S.A.,most lazy tunnel hat kids that claim to be into heavy metal look like something from Ozz Fest!
Baggy droopy rap-orianated looking pants, basketball sneakers, hoodies instead of leather, sideways hats,ect...anything but a metal image. They have no fucking clue as to what a true metal head should look like.
Baseball jerseys..ect....whenever I see a so-called"metal band" on TV that looks like this I always think to myself..."are you going to pitch me a baseball or play me a riff"? Its pathetic over here man, metal heads that live outside the U.S. A.have it way easier than we do.It sucks here for metal.

J.D. DIAMOND: thanks for the words man, really, thanks, I always thought of the image as important to heavy metal, not as much as the music of course, but important, is like the visual materialization of all what it means the heavy metal attitude, headbangers without his uniform is like an indian warrior withouth his warpaint and decorative feather crowns, it represents something ,a part of your identity, for metalheads as metalheads, maintain the image!! maintain the spirit, maintain the attitude!! maintain the music!!! maintain real Heavy Metal!!!
Deep Freeze: Behold the power of the chalk!! behold I say!!!!!!!! hahaha, you only need a little of inspiration(Heavy Metal music in this case), a lot of patience and a lot of colored and white chalk haha!!! |

I second Freeze, that mural is awesome! Really inspiring. And that west too - pretty soon you will be able to scrap the denim and just sew the patches together to make a west! Really kicks ass. |
