Well thank you Deep Freeze or do I just call you Mr. Freeze for short? I am happy to find this site and others who enjoy Priest too.
[Deep Freeze] Tuesday, November 17, 2009 9:42:28 AM
Well perhaps I misspoke?  ALMOST anything...HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  In any event, a very warm welcome to you, my dear! I hope you enjoy your time here with us.

I am a newbee on this site but I have to agree with Guidogodoy agreeing with Deep Freeze, I would do anything to sit with Rob and talk even for 5 minutes.
[guidogodoy] Thursday, November 12, 2009 11:21:39 AM
Oh man, I couldn't agree more. While some called Jim a "loon" for having done so, I think that the unexpected benefits (radio + print + SPEAKING WITH THE BAND!!) do certainly deserve MAJOR KUDOS!! Good going, Jim (but next time mention JP.COM HAAAA!!!).

Now about this tattoo, Freeze....you might be onto something there. However, I do NOT want to see a picture!

Well Jim, whether or not you did it for acknowledgement or not is irrelevant. I mean, you got it! To have the opportunity to sit for five minutes and chat with Rob Halford I can assure you I would do FAR worse and lie my butt off about it if I needed to...HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Like I said, the end completely justifies the means! I realize that is  TOTALLY cynical and I readily admit it but, if I claimed that "Turbo" was the GREATEST Priest album ever and had it tattoed on my butt and Rob wanted to talk about that, I would do it!! HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The point is, you lived the dream. If you enjoy the album so much, GREAT. It makes NO difference. YOU met the Band! You sat with Rob Halford and chatted!! And it was not some management-required "meet and greet". THEY sought YOU out and wanted to speak to YOU!! Kudos to you, my friend.

Thanks guys!  i know there's people out there that question why i did it, certainly not for noteriety or some kind of fame.  Simply, the love a great record....the band saw fit to take a few minutes to acknowledge it, whick i only could have dreamed of!  The media made it what it is....i guess i should thank them...lol
[Deep Freeze] Thursday, November 12, 2009 8:15:01 AM
OK Jim, here's the way I see it...:

An "achievement" is defined as a result gained by effort. With that in mind, clearly you have met the standard for an achievement. The quality of which I suppose one could debate but I would ask, WHY? I mean, honestly! The real bottom line here is that the end certainly justifies the means, right? It makes NO difference to me what you did or what , if any, ulterior motives you may have had! YOU got to meet the Band! YOU got some noteriety! YOU reaped the benefits of an idea forged within your own mind and put into motion. As far as I am concerned, it is an achievement! I would LOVE to have come up with it myself and received those rewards!!! HA!!!!!!!!!!!

If one cares to debate why you did it I suppose they could but, as far as I am concerned, it was a brilliant piece of work on your part. I am not really interested in why you did it...YOU met the Band!!! Well done!

Jackylone!! You know you have many supporters here. Keep defending the faith. I for one am very very happy for you and all that has come out of this!

I still want to hear Pestilence and Plague live dang it!!

I'd bet hellrider has listened to Painkiller when it was released more times in one month than Jackylone's year and a half of Nostradamus lol!!!!
[Becks] Thursday, November 12, 2009 12:57:05 AM
Dude, don't be so negative. An achievement is a personal thing, and Jackylone has every right to be happy if he feels (which I am sure he does) he has achieved something - what may be an achievement for one person won't be so for another, but that doesn't give anyone the right to knock it back. I give props to Jackylone

sorry j.j that your are sour and jealous that it wasn't you my friend...
[jimmyjames] Wednesday, November 11, 2009 4:33:08 PM
This is not an achievement. At best this is leaving a cd in your cd player for 17 months.

Thanks Becks!
