Well Jim, whether or not you did it for acknowledgement or not is irrelevant. I mean, you got it! To have the opportunity to sit for five minutes and chat with Rob Halford I can assure you I would do FAR worse and lie my butt off about it if I needed to...HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Like I said, the end completely justifies the means! I realize that is TOTALLY cynical and I readily admit it but, if I claimed that "Turbo" was the GREATEST Priest album ever and had it tattoed on my butt and Rob wanted to talk about that, I would do it!! HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The point is, you lived the dream. If you enjoy the album so much, GREAT. It makes NO difference. YOU met the Band! You sat with Rob Halford and chatted!! And it was not some management-required "meet and greet". THEY sought YOU out and wanted to speak to YOU!! Kudos to you, my friend.

Thanks guys! i know there's people out there that question why i did it, certainly not for noteriety or some kind of fame. Simply, the love a great record....the band saw fit to take a few minutes to acknowledge it, whick i only could have dreamed of! The media made it what it is....i guess i should thank them...lol |
