Feeling freaked out about running 6 miles, sweating like a pig and then running into someone who has rubbed me down with me not remembering her name, better said.

Not on 151. On Bacardi light / blanco.

I tried to stay away from things you could light on fire.

I could have shot the shit with you! I worked for an upscal country club and had many conversations with all kinds of business people! But most of all I just enjoyed the fun of watching these people let loose.
Someone asked you about your ribs from out of nowhere! LOL Did she scared the crap out of you till you saw who it was, that would have made me feel a little strange. But that might just be me!

Long beach...old time favorite. Few knew how to make it. Come on, barkeep what is the only basic change from a Long Island Iced Tea?

Really. Quite interesting. I had no idea.

I really have a hard time striking up a conversation with what I do. I mean, I could say that I was a garbageman and have a better conversation making small-talk with a barber, etc. Tonight was a good one. Got the six miles out of the way (thank YOU Priest / Maiden / Faithful Defenders!) and while I am sweating up a storm ready to stretch a bit someone grabs me, calls me by name and asks about my broken ribs. Freaked me out for half a second until I realized that she was the one and only person to give me a professional massage.

Damn woman has pretty much seen me naked and I couldn't remember her name! LOL!!!! At least I remembered what SHE did for a living.

OMG, I would have starved to death without tips. On average was 100.00 a night.  250.00 on a decent night and on the busiest weekend of the year, which was called Member guest weekend, 400.00 in one night. God I miss that job!

We don't have a tipping system here, the way to tip the bartender is to buy him or her a drink... They have tip jars and such but it's not expected. The pay rate is pretty damn good though. I did however used to get tips when i was a delivery driver... that was sweet.

Big bars, people think, never going to see them again. Local clubs, they KNOW they are going to see you again!

And, believe or not, they don't pay as much in tips!

It's a great job as long as you don't mind the long hours and you really get to know people very well! I still some people I used to wait on regular and they still remember  me! And about after midnight, they would buy me drinks on their tabs. So I really didn't mind being up till 4 am with them. LOL
Sometimes they get way to hammered and you have to calm them down and make sure they get home safe but I never had a member get mad at me for telling they were a couple drinks over the line, always knew i could rely on someone to take them home safely.

Awesome! I know the bartender at the local pub. She always knows what to pour.... Great lady too, always have a laugh with her. It would like to do it for a while just for the experience.
