What days do you get? In NZ Good Friday and Easter Monday are both paid public holidays. I'd say there's a good chance. Most of the bands do their touring in the states over the summer months. Hi JJ and Vail!!
Not that I NEED a lazy day, but I do enjoy the unexpected ones : )
I don't have a real tree this year, that was last year as we alternate. I usually leave the decorations up 'til New Years is over as it's depressing taking them down. Btw, when's the next meaningful holiday??
ps...I graduated from a public school as well...lol Edited at: Sunday, December 27, 2009 5:25:42 PM |

Broke in the new waffle iron and hot chocolate maker...deliscious with strawberries and whipped cream!!! Just finished eating grilled bacon cheeseburgers!!
Great to see Strat making a visit back to us...best of luck in school!!
I went back to IE because Firefox wouldn't allow me to use some apps, and I have absolutely NO problems here at JP.com!!!
I'm very happy to see we've all made it through Christmas...off this coming up week and I really am at a loss on how to fill up some of my time...any suggestions??
Also...NO New Years resoloutions for me this year!!!!!!!! |

Don't worry, Spa. It'll all end eventually.
Unfortunately, the US doesn't have the best of education systems, but come on. I went to a public school in one of the poorest areas in Los Angeles county! I didn't have the best education either, but it was up to me to make an effort to spell better, write better essays, etc. Plus, there are alot of users here who don't have English as a first language, and the majority of them spell just as well as most of the native English speakers/writers here. Ultimately, you are in charge of your own education, and eventually your life. A boss looking for a good employee won't accept someone who can't spell 'the' properly.
Look, it's okay if you can't spell properly right now. No harm, no foul. But at least take the time you have here to improve the way you write/communicate. Remember, even if you're done with school, you never really stop learning. No, it isn't the site, it is your computer. Specifically, the little java applet running to the right of the bar. As the name suggests, it is a basic "runtime error." VERY common.
My fix? Stop using IE as you should have done so years ago. Firefox has always been the choice of nerds and is also free. IE is a dinosaur, bloatware and runs slower then hell. Use Firefox. Free, faster, more secure and able to customize 1000x more than IE. Download, install, import your bookmarks and, voilá, problem solved.
Lemme know.

Strat!!! So good to see you around! Just the other day I was thinking, "where the hell is Strat?" Good to have you back if only for a little while, I've missed my Rick Rolls. Hope school is going brilliant for you! [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by _strat_ from Sunday, December 27, 2009 3:37:39 PM) |

Lemme know.

This pop-up has been pissing me off for the past week. Everytime I get to JP.com and post/backread, after a few minutes, I get this message and I have to close the page and start over!!!! I don't know if it's my computer's problem or the website's...and I'm REALLY hoping this isn't the beginning of the end for my laptop.

Dunno, then... Seems to have stopped for now, anyway. | | Vaillant 3.0 wrote: | | Nope. It's 'cause you most likely have Windows and it (especially IE) doesn't support the applet to the right, where one can play the songs. Switch to Firefox and it won't happen so much again. | | Brandon Taylor wrote: | | i htink somthin is wrong wiht hthe judas preist website becos this is teh only site were im havin this problem?? | | Vaillant 3.0 wrote: | | I don't think so. I heard they're supposed to play on the first day against South Africa.
Alot of members with Internet Explorer have been having that runtime problem (including me). Best fix is to switch from IE to Firefox. Guids will let you know. | | _strat_ wrote: | | Well, Im not sure that Mexico qualified... Would have to look it up.
By the way, are you (or anyone) having problems with the website? It keeps shutting down and saying something about "run time" or something like that... | | Vaillant 3.0 wrote: | | I'm rootin' for Mexico and Germany (should actually look them up, though... don't know if they're in the same division). May the best team win. | | _strat_ wrote: | | Lol... Well, I hope so. Thanks.
This year, Im rooting for our team first, since they actualy qualified, then I guess for the Serbs, if our team gets eliminated. Cant root for the US though - you are in the same group with us.
As for the assholes - I just hope that they didnt wait for me. | | Vaillant 3.0 wrote: | | Good luck with college!! You're a smart man, so you'll make it above and beyond.
Things around here have been pretty calm, with the occasional butthole here and there. Maybe they'll all come out from the woodwork once the holiday season ends.
Who are you going to root for in the World Cup? | | _strat_ wrote: | | Weeeellllll........ Ive been busy. First year as a college student. We actualy have to work, damit.
Been fine of course. How are things around here? Is it just me, or are there no more assholes around? And I see I will have to make another football thread too... Gotta have that with the world cup next year. | | Vaillant 3.0 wrote: | | STRAT!!!!!!! Where the heck have you been?!? Me missed you!!!
