Thats cool Head Banger, like I said...if we all had the same opinion about everything,it would be quite boring.

if everyone were like me the world would be perfect.  HA!!!
I dont like RR, never have.  its just boring.  that and nost, I dunno, I could give nost another try sometime, RR, nope.  if they re recorded it or played bits live, fine and well.  but, perhaps turbo works for me as I was right in the target audience when it came out, think I was 13 when I got it.  dunno, but I would in a total ranking put in probably close to the middle.  there are a few other discs below it, if I realy think about it.  POE, its all good stuff, but on the disc I dont care for it as much, live is beter.  sounds very restrained on the disc, lacking energy

that RR cover is awesome though.

Wow  Head Banger...Turbo better than "ROCKA ROLLA"?????   Man,the hardest thing for me to do at this website is having to realize that we all have different opinions.....

But man,....in my ears Rocka Rolla's song writting and an album as a whole knocks the socks off of Turbo so much I can't begin to post how !! LOL!!

And "way" better than Nostradamus...I have to go with Nostradamus....I still believe to me that the songs on Turbo are the very worst of Judas Priest.

If there was an album called " The Worst Of Judas Priest" and it had 10 songs on it....7 of them would be from Turbo.lol!

What do you call it when a Turbo album is smashed and it still plays afterwards?      .....     "A Shame". LOL Head Banger!!!!! J/K

LOL! But to each his own man,its still cool to see different opinions even if you don't agree with them.If we all had the same thoughts,it would be boring right?

I prefer it to Ram It Down, but it's not one of :Priest's finer moments.

Are you on the Saxon forum? I'm sure I've seen you there!

dissagreeing with you here.  sure its not the hardest, or the best writen, but its way beter than nost, and beter than Rocka Rolla, which could have been beter, but they just didnt get there.  I actualy like this disc, for what it is, dumb, teen metal.  not their best, but not the worst.  still finds its way into my playlist regularily

I can. I didn't mind Turbo (shouldn't have played it live two tours ago, IMO), LOVED Locked in and had a new respect for Out in the Cold from the video Priest Live.

Then again, I am also a big fan of Nostra. Train to it just about every time I run. Take my comments as you will. They are genuine, however.

How can anybody disagree that "Turbo" is Judas Priest's worst album? Man Maple Syrup this album reeks of terrible songwritting."Turbo Lover and Locked In are two of Judas Priest's worst songs they have ever written
and in my book is an embarrasment to fans of Judas Priest and the entire heavy metal community. YUK! LOL!

"Turbo lover"........."Locked In"..... "Private Property"......."Parental Guidance"....."Rock You All Around The World"......."Out In The Cold"........"Hot For Love"......."Wild Nights".......

These are  "*" of Judas Priest's worst songs ever recorded!!!!!!!!!!!  Grade this album an "F" for   "failure".

Well it strikes me as very strange that they stated that they were going to perform the whole of Nostradamus live and they've decided instead to do an album that is not that far off 30 years old instead.

In London they played 2 songs from Nostradamus.  They hardly plugged the new album did they?!

So if they want to play it so very very very much, why not do it on the back of the release?

Oh well maybe they will in 29 years.
[Bazookajoe_666] Tuesday, May 05, 2009 11:29:45 AM
Where have you read that Priest are never going to perform Nostradamus live?

Ironically, the band keeps saying they are GOING to play it sometime later in the year or at the latest next year. They all want to.

I may not like Nostradamus either Necroticist, but there is no way that it is "worse" than this ugly terrible lame pop sold out album in "TURBO"!!!!!

Turbo is thier worst album,Demolition and Nostradamus are next.

[~ MG_Metalgoddess~] Sunday, May 03, 2009 11:04:25 AM

I guess Iam suprised in all the albums they have done.. There was so much Hype about this one,, and then the Grammy Nom.. ect... why this album????   In the past years their other albums,  did so much better, and had so much more reconigition.  ect... I was suprised about the Grammy Nom, to begin with...

A few songs I really like off Nostradamus, but overall it is not my Fav Priest Album..

One of the most disappointing albums ever in my opinion.

Priest must feel the same. They changed their tune about playing it all live.
[67gemini] Saturday, May 02, 2009 7:15:27 AM
Overall, I really like the album. Lately I haven't listened to it as much, but that is normal. When it was first released I don't think I took it out of the cd player for months. While I do think it is inferior to AOR, there are still some strong tracks on there: "Prophecy", "Death", "Persecution", "Exiled", "Nostradamus", and "Future of Mankind".

I LOVED THE ALBUM WHEN IT FIRST CAME OUT AND I LOVE IT MORE TODAY. GRANTED IT IS NOT YOUR TYPICAL HEAVY METAL ALBUM, BUT IT HAS SOME GREAT METAL SONGS ON IT.  AND PRIEST IS NOT YOUR TYPICAL FAST, FASTER AND FASTER HEAVY METAL BAND.  THEY ARE THE MOST PASSION AND INTENSITY. THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN DIVERSE IN THEIR MUSIC AND EXPLORED VARIOUS OPTIONS IN THEIR MUSIC. THAT IS WHY I THINK THEY ARE THE BEST BAND OUT THERE. ROCKA ROLLA WAS NOT A VERY HEAVY METAL ALBUM. (IT IS A GREAT ALBUM) BUT THEY GREW FROM THAT AND THEY KEPT GROWING. AND CHANGING. NOSTRADAMUS IS A MUSICAL MASTERPIECE.
[Bazookajoe_666] Tuesday, April 28, 2009 11:39:27 AM
I like to call Nostradamus a dynamic piece of symphonic metal. But at the same time extremely overblown haha. But I do love the record anyway.

Yeah,I know Cobras...Nostradamus is a very well put together album and it does have "some" heavy metal in it,even though I don't consider it a "heavy metal album"..it still has some good tracks, and must be appreciated in its own right.

Maybe I will appreciate this album alot more when Priest releases the next album.

I will keep my faith and trust this band I've loved for so many years. If I did'nt rant and rave about them,I would'nt care, obviously "I do care".
