I'm on Firefox now and no more problems with the "runtime error" but it doesn't seem quite as fast internet explorer on this site. Anyway its better than before. Thanks for the advice.

You really don't need to be "familiar" with any new browser. Netscape / Mozilla set the norm and all the others have followed suit (including IE).

I switched to internet explorer 8 and so far its working better. I'm not familiar with firefox but may try it.

Necro - I fix this problem all the time. If you plug in that machine and have reset the BIOS back to Default settings (no overclocking), then your problem will be a bad memory stick (got a spike when the power went out - do you have it plugged into a surge protector?), test it by popping out one and another stick to see if it fixes the problem; overheating - BIG culprit that can pop up at any time - take the side off the computer (if it is a tower) and see if air helps; MY thought is still the power supply. You are trying to run too much on a faulty unit. That power outage just put it on its last leg. Happens all the time. Only fix is to swap it with a quality PS. Test is to take out some cards (audio, ethernet, etc) and see if it fixes the problem. I still say underrated PS.

How long would it take an Iron Maiden fan or Metallica wannabe to storm out if they discovered that Bruce or James were not really singing??? THIS, my friends, is what I have been lamenting all these many years! People that pass for "musicians" and/or pop stars are actually nothing of the sort! Further, the so-called "music" is nothing but pre-recorded rubbish with choreographed "dance" moves. It is not "music" in the sense that actual , talented musicians are writing and playing anything of any musical value.
Yet another example of why I constantly complain about the "buying" public. They really do not care about music at all. They want to "see" their music, not hear it. For god's sake, at least KISS plays!! Pfff!!! Ashlee Simpson, indeed! |

Phantom arguing with Guido is getting you NOWHERE. Guido is correct and you are "NOT CORRECT",you haven't been since you started posting yesterday,I don't know what you are so uptight about but your taking it out on all the people you are supposed to be friends with. I was the first one to tell you that you are not making any sense and the others saw it and topped it off,Guido is not calling you stupid,he is wondering "what is your problem" and "why are you sooooo upset"??
If something has pissed you off in your personal life we are sorry for your misfortune,but to blindly argue with your friends in here is pointless. Its hard to admit you've made a mistake but by doing so it shows your character and is a great way to clean the slate and start over again. Nobody is out to get you,its all cool man just understand what Guido was trying to tell you and I think you'll know what I am talking about.

Oh, that is quite complex, my friend. Especially if I have to teach it to first graders. My limited education only permits for primary school.
