My girlfriend has Brave New World and A Matter Of life And Death but they never get played...we don't own any other album from 1990-2006 except those 2 and they hardly even get played at home like I said maybe once every 2 years or more and when we play them we only play one song or so...thats why I just can't list a setlist YUK! lol!

Thats why I can't come up with a set list from those years...they simply "are not good enough" for a live show because Iron Maiden "FUCKING SUCKS".
And by the way....I did and have rated those albums from 1990-2006 go back in Brian's pathetic Iron Maiden thread from the other day March 25th when we both listed each Iron Maiden album...you will find that I've rated each album ...do you have a short term memory loss jimmy or have you been smoking my pot again? lol!!!
Now Motorhead? This isn't aimed at you jimmy but heres my opinion of Motorhead vs. Iron Maiden..... Motorhead's song writting fuckin crushes Iron Maiden's balls no question. I could "easily" make up a set list of kick ass Motorhead songs in a track list from 1990 -2008 no problem although it would be so easy there would be so many tracks that would not fit in a 2 1/2 hour set list but I could easily make one....Motorhead has so many top notch excellent songs that tower over Iron maiden its not funny,really...its not even close.
And another thing thats funny is the title of this thread says "who is HARDER"? LOL Iron Maiden is so mellow these days and soooooo progressive that there is NO WAY they can be "harder" than the panzer division Motorhead assult at thier volume.
Listen to Runaround Man uptop....does Iron maiden have any songs that can top this in heaviness the last 20 years? Fuck no they don't. Motorhead has balls and like Brian_Evans, Iron Maiden does not...end of story.

I would gladly wait for hours for the mighty Priest! Through any weather, any circumstances, I'd be there.
Motorhead and Saxon would be worth waiting for too.
Don't know if I could say the same thing for Maiden - very likely not. [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by J.D. DIAMOND from Sunday, March 28, 2010 2:39:53 PM)

But I couldn't ever make a list not even for fun because any songs from Iron Maiden that were made from 1990 -2006 would make me puke to hear them played live,I just can't come up with anything for real man, they are "that bad" and I can only listen to some of these songs on my stereo in small doses maybe once every 2 years if that and only a track or 2,not the whole album ect..

We all have opinions and I'm no different,so I have to say that "only the old Iron Maiden" first 5 studio albums are great up to Powerslave, the rest are overrated BIG TIME. Metallica is the biggest lamest overrated band in the world and Maiden is # 2 next to shittalica.I like old Iron Maiden and some of thier newer stuff too but its ridiculously overrated in my opinion.
Thier albums after Powerslave are really not all that great, some of them are ok but never as good as the first 5 albums, not even close. But when they play live, everyone wants to go because of "Number Of The Beast man"....thats the only reason people go see Iron Maiden is to hear thier "old shit"not thier new shit.
Motorhead might be harder, Maiden are fuckin better though.

ABSOLUTELY Motorhead is THE LOUDEST show I've ever seen. I normally don't put in earplugs, but DAMN! I had to save my ears for Heaven and Hell and the MIGHTY PRIEST! Those boys know how to kick ass on stage [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by J.D. DIAMOND from Sunday, November 29, 2009 2:26:20 PM)

I like Seventh Son too,but I don't like Somewhere In Time except for a couple of songs(2) like you,and yeah they got soft after Powerslave. And MUSICGIRL....this thread wasn't who we like better,it is "who is harder"?? And I've seen Iron Maiden live 3 times and just saw Motorhead live in October for the first time, and I can definately tell you that "MOTORHEAD" is "harder"!!!!!! This was the LOUDEST fucking show I have EVER seen!!!! Any louder and my ears would literately be bleeding,so to say Maiden is harder is unvalid,so I'm not saying that you should like Motorhead better rather than admitting that Motorhead are "harder"!!! lol! These guys are so loud its unreal!!!!! lol!

Now THAT is a statement I'll back 100%. Powerslave is a gem, I CHERISH Seventh Son, I still like some songs off of Somewhere in Time but they dropped the ball afterwards if you ask me....and I was on stage with them during Fear of the Dark. They had us on during the Clairvoyant? How do you spice up a dud like that by pretending people rushed the stage?!
At least it wasn't "Take your Daughter to the Slaughter!" LOL.

Iron Maiden "used" to be heavier than Motorhead up till Powerslave....and then they got so progressive that nowadays...Motorhead is light years heavier than maiden.
And as I said before...Motorhead is LIGHT YEARS more "consistant with releasing quality albums....Maiden is nowhere close to that at all.

You may be right J.D. Diamond, Motorhead is harder but I still enjoy Maiden best because I know more of their music. But I would not be against seeing Motorhead live. I quess that would help make an informed decision.

HAHAHA you are very hilarious hehehe as if Iron Maiden could possibly be "harder" than Motorhead(lomfl!!) Obviously you have NEVER SEEN MOTORHEAD LIVE or you wouldn't be posting such nonsense!! HAHA!! There is no band in the world that is louder than Motorhead and Maiden don't come close to being "harder" than Motorhead. Not a choice question for me. I can enjoy both. But (joking) the day Lemmy Kilmeister dies, they will tour his dead body around the world. There will be massive funeral processions by biker gangs and grieving fandom everywhere. Tattoos with RIP Lemmy in Goth lettering by the thousands, every band ever known to mankind will pay tribute...it will be a massive event for decades to come.

I have to say Iron Maiden. They have a lot more variations and are tighter and more "metallish".
I also love Motörhead, but Maiden is so much more music for me!
