I'm with you on the photos. Why aren't there enough photos from the rest of the world? Does the photographer hate to travel or something? Sheesh... 
I can't imagine what it must be like for all of you guys living south of the equator, a place where bands rarely tour. I imagine it's just plain too expensive for them to haul all the equipment all the way down there, especially in today's economy. The difference in weather must make it even more difficult.
Anyway, let's hope Judas Priest can return there next year. And with more photos!!!!

Where are my photos damn it!!!!!!!! And none from the Asian part of the tour?? what's the go................. I'm so angry at the rest of the world right now, Damn Europe and U.S it's like nothing else exists... They get to experience more concerts, more frequently and don't get me started on music festivals.... God forbid we have any good one's here. Band signings are few and far between I'm sick of getting stiffed down here... Maybe if i yell, kick, scream loud enough I might get a response.

One doesnt exclude the other, you know... I was thinking of equiping him with a couple of them plasma screens, a stereo system, maybe some cool lights... It would be the end of DPK as we know him, but it would be the start of a new show: Pimp my IT guy.

Most USBs like the Cruzer run with U3 which would allow you to install all sorts of programs / browsers on it. A 4GB goes for about $20 if you catch a special at WallyWorld. I have a few of them but rely more on an external harddrive as deal with very large files. Popped an old 100GB harddrive out of an old laptop and just bought a $10 enclosure. Works like a giant USB drive and you can install entire operating systems on it. THAT'LL teach them bastich IT guys!

Thats metal for me!

Lol. Well, he is short, you cant deny that. I saw an interwiev with him once where he was surrounded by his bandmates from DIO. The rest of them were somewhere of a normal height, just Ronnie was down there like a child. And he has that mischevious, impish look as well.
But that aside, I said it before and I say it again, an awesome singer. His singing really sends shivers down my spine. AND he is good lyricist as well. Theres a song on the Black Sabbath: The Dio years album (a great album, worth every cent) that starts with "One fine day... In hell". How could I possibly not like that? Or lines like "shadow in the dark"? Thats metal! Not singing about chicks or partying. Thats just pop with guitar solos, as far as Im concerned. Dungeons and dragons, swords and sorcery. Thats metal for me!
Now, you can say Im a geek, because quite frankly... I am.

Well I'm not sure why gay people got moves ( to tease??) , but in the military here you are taught how to dance in basic training, and they have annual functions where they are expected to dance with a partner... they learn all the old school stuff - very sweet.

HB, I never considered Ozzy a "great" singer, in the mold of a Dio. He was distinctive, certainly. As for his onstage "moves", he was no dancer! (He may be a lover, but he aint no dancer....HA!) DF, was ozzy a great singer back in the day. I was impressed that he seemed coherant, jumped around a lot and got the words right. his vocal abilities didnt impress me much. but I didnt think he could move like that. he is no match for Dio though. Rob Halford has to be on his best day to compare.

Ah, that would probably be easy enough, if you have it in digital format already... But there are people who can give you much better advice than me, so ill just STFU.
As for dancing, if it works with chicks, then it might be worth learning it. But as I said, Im an anti-talent when it comes to dancing. I can play a guitar, I can play the basics on a bass, I can even sing some less demanding songs (punk numbers and WW2 marching songs - dont ask how these two genres fit together), but dancing... No. Never.

Most USBs like the Cruzer run with U3 which would allow you to install all sorts of programs / browsers on it. A 4GB goes for about $20 if you catch a special at WallyWorld. I have a few of them but rely more on an external harddrive as deal with very large files. Popped an old 100GB harddrive out of an old laptop and just bought a $10 enclosure. Works like a giant USB drive and you can install entire operating systems on it. THAT'LL teach them bastich IT guys!

I was just so impressed with their show on this Metal Masters tour....Ronnie James Dio was amazing... his voice, his showmanship... he never fails to "deliver the goods". I had a chance to say hello.. but I let that moment get away from me. From what I've heard... he is nice to the fans and always takes his time when he meets them. |

Lol. Well, he is short, you cant deny that. I saw an interwiev with him once where he was surrounded by his bandmates from DIO. The rest of them were somewhere of a normal height, just Ronnie was down there like a child. And he has that mischevious, impish look as well.
But that aside, I said it before and I say it again, an awesome singer. His singing really sends shivers down my spine. AND he is good lyricist as well. Theres a song on the Black Sabbath: The Dio years album (a great album, worth every cent) that starts with "One fine day... In hell". How could I possibly not like that? Or lines like "shadow in the dark"? Thats metal! Not singing about chicks or partying. Thats just pop with guitar solos, as far as Im concerned. Dungeons and dragons, swords and sorcery. Thats metal for me!
Now, you can say Im a geek, because quite frankly... I am.

As for Ozzy, what I was refering to is that his voice has character. IDK what an entertainer he is, because I never seen him live. But Iron Man doesnt sound the same without Ozzy.

As for R.J. Dio, that is another thing. One of my favourite singers of all time, and Id dare say that I prefer him over Halford sometimes. Glad to hear he can still pull it off. |
