Of course I still tag along shopping so she doesn't buy anything I find just plain stupid, but at least she doesn't have tacky tastes, so it's not really an issue. I hate going shopping with her though because she will spend hours picking out clothes and trying everything on. It's exhausting shopping with her. My idea of shopping is to focus on what I want and go get it and get the hell out! So, its shopping hell day when she shops. Make up, that's not been too bad so far. I won't let her wear anything outside of eyeliner, mascara, a trace of face powder, and some eye shadow, but not too heavy. No blush, no lipstick. Keep it natural or take it off is my slogan. I've seen friends of hers that wear makeup like they are clowns in a circus!
My problem was I followed the instructions she gave me. "Please bring me some clothes for tomorrow" and of course I remembered toothpaste and brush, but failed to remember, straight iron, hairdryer, make up, and a few other things. So, that's it. she packs a bag next time she takes off and there is anychance she's going to call and ask to spend the night. (Quoting Message by joedraper from Tuesday, July 06, 2010 12:12:56 AM)

I know how it is to get sentimentaly attached to certain things. I'm really bad about it when it comes to cars. I cry each time I have to trade one in and it takes me a couple of weeks to start to really like the new car. At least, if they gave your boat to your sister it would still be in the family and therefore still accessible to you. That sounds like a pretty good deal. I could see how you would begin to silently wish the stolen one never turns up. lol [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by kiamat from Thursday, July 01, 2010 9:34:41 AM) | | kiamat wrote: | | I hope so Spa. I'm feeling very bad about one thing. There's been pressure on me lately to get a newer, fast competition boat, which I've resisted because I can't face selling my beloved Vadja Challenger even though it's getting old. Now my family have suggested that if we can't trace my sister's boat, would I be willing to give it to her and get a new one? Well, I would love to do so, but at the same time its like wishing that the stolen one never gets found, which I definitely don't mean. | | spapad wrote: | | Sorry to hear about your sister's misfortune. Which is as stupid as it was to steal them in the first place- the UK slalom circuit is small enough that if they tried to sell the boats they would be instantly recognised (nearly all good quality ones have custom paint jobs, or at least names and tel numbers marked inside), so God knows where they'll end up. Probably in police storage under months worth of red tape if they are ever traced.
I'm so mad, and upset for my sister too. |

They are not going after people claiming true disablity and incompascity beniftis, just pruning some of the free riders out. Still, those will go from one benefit to JSA, or long term unemployed. Labor made an entire younger generation of persons feeling they don't have to work. Your generation not included and I'm sure if your health allowed you would be up for a job. I bet your son works. Nostradamus was released in July 2008 almost 2 years ago,and for the band to strike up a any kind of a tour for the Nostradamus album even if its a short one is almost taking a step backwards.
Same goes for if they don't do a Nostradamus tour and do a 30 year aniversary tour for Screaming For Vengeance in 2011 they would be taking a step backwards, something the band has never done before, the British Steel aniversary was fresh and new and thats all good but to tour another 30 year old album instead of creating something new would be heartbreaking.
They really have us all by the balls here, its like watching a game go into overtime on the edge of your seat pulling for victory and if it doesn't happen its a major letdown. All we can do is what we all obviously know....sit back and fucking "wait". This band means a HELL of alot to myself and millions of other fans and there is nothing we want more than a brand new studio album, but we also have to realize that we might not get one, that is fuckin scarry hellrider. Do you think we’ll see a full-scale Nostradamus tour?We really want to do that. I still remember the day when Glenn, K.K. and myself were working over at Glenn’s house — and I think we were about three or four songs into the record — and I said, “Let’s just put a statement out on our website and tell everybody what we’re doing because I’m really afraid that someone else is doing this somewhere.” From that moment, we said that we were going to really push the heavy metal boat out and do something extraordinary. We’ve achieved that with the music, and we still want to do it on stage. We were in Hollywood recently and met with some producers and agents, so there are a lot of things going on behind the scenes.

If the members ever read any of this, they must understand that even though some of us didn't get into Nostradamus,we still hail the band for thier efforts and we still love the band but we are "hungry" for new material especially for those who didn't groove on Nostradamus because to us it feels like the last album Judas Priest put out was 2005's Angel Of Retribution.
We need to bribe them....lets say if they put out an album as strong as Painkiller we will all buy 2 copies!!!! Somethings got to give hellrider!! lol!

Plastichead.com was cheaper, which is something I had to take in to consideration when converting British pounds to NZ $. Yep I want yellow SFV. Also waiting on SAS, BS and POE and DOTF. I just want to sort it out and now have to wait ages before I can contact them. Yellow SFV was your wish, no? Green SAS for me. | | Becks wrote: | | Just spoke to my bank, and apparently the payments haven't gone on to my credit card and aren't pending. Now I have to wait till tonight to ring Plastichead.com cos they're in the UK. WTF if this delay causes me to miss out on coloured vinyl I will be mad! | | guidogodoy wrote: | | I want you to get your LPs too!
(so you can tell me what colors you got...) | | Becks wrote: | | Yeah, I'm still waiting for my Priest LPs I ordered from the UK to arrive, and it's been 4 weeks since I ordered them! Starting to get annoyed, plus, the payments haven't gone out of my credit card. I want my LPs!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
