Weeeeeeellll... I could reccomend loads. But to start it off, I guess Gamma rays "Send me a sign" would be a perfect recommendation. Then, something like "Power of the Dragonflame" from Rhapsody... Havent heard of them before, but Im listening to them now. "Before the duel" is the song. I like it. Specialy the guitarist, plays a nice melody, and decent riffs. Also, he looks kinda like Iommy, so thats bonus points too, lol.

As much as I love Blind Guardian, Demons and Wizards never really appealed to me... IDK, I think that (at least on those songs I heard) Hansi is really not doing what we know he is able to do.

Yup, yup, yup. Power metal thread take 3 (at least). I know power metal heads are out there... So... To start it off, Hammerfall... Ive been listening to their new stuff lately - particulary "Last man standing" and "Natural high" are both bloody awesome songs. Sorry, no links yet, the work computer wont let me, but I promise there will be some when I get home.
Anyone familiar with Rhaposdy of Fire? A bloody great band from Italy... Any song on youtube is good, but Power of the Dragonflame and Unholy Warcry are the best...
Dragonforce... Nuff said. Another great one, guitarists probably drink a bathtub-full of coffe everyday...
So, anyone else has any stuff to share? Something not very well known, probably? |
