Look, I understand that he has a responsibility. Such is the burden of office. I just take offense when Bush is blamed for things that are clearly NOT his doing. I would take the same offense if it were Obama or anyone else! (Except maybe Hillary. I do believe she did cause the Great Plague) It astonishes me how people in this country refuse to accept responsibility for the STUPID things they do. It is SO easy to blame the president. He is "in charge". He is 'responsible". Well, OK. Maybe so but he certainly did not take a gun and hold it to the heads of the MILLIONS of MORONS that signed crappy mortgages for homes the KNEW they could NOT afford!!! Bush NEVER told ANYONE to buy crap on credit that they could NOT afford to pay for with CASH. It all comes down to being financially responsible for YOURSELF. It really amazes me how many Americans did NOT give back that "lousy" stimulus check you mentioned! Hmm.. interesting indeed.
I do not need to defend Bush any longer, as I do not believe he did a great job. But he did not destroy this country as so many "haters" would have us believe. WE did it to OURSELVES. Take a look at the amount of CREDIT BURDEN the average American has, man! Is THAT Bush's fault too????? Please!

Everyone was beating off over bush winning the last time and look at the state we are in today. If he were the CEO of some fortune 500 company, he would have been drummed out years ago and please spare me the "he inherited this mess" B.S..
