So THAT'S what you meant about being a God band back in the day.... now I get it, I had no idea. EEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWW! At least they aren't going to be at 1 of the shows I'm going to! I've only heard parts of the 2 songs on YouTube....not impressed to say the least. Now that I know they wanted to be a Christain rock band, I really can't stomach that! Had some people try to turn me to Christian rock music when I was 12..... bad memories man. But I kept the metal faith and told them that if I was going to hell for listening to Priest, then at least hell will have GREAT music!How in the hell are these guys opening for PRIEST??? Beer tent it is because there is NO way I am going to waste my time listening to a band who came out with their first full-length cd of crap last year!
We'll have to coordinate when the date draws closer. Haven't been to Pine Knob since JP/ Queensryche, so I am a bit unsure of which pubs are still around (even stopped at the beer store oddly enough STILL using the name Pine Knob Licquor / Beer) right before that concert. I am all for it, though.

Guido, are you thinking about Anvil? They were rumored to be opening for Priest but then PopEvil was announced. PopEvil is from Grand Rapids, MI and formed in 2001. Just checked them out on YouTube . Meet you at the beer tents at Pine Knob??

DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW LONG PRIEST' SET WILL BE ON THE U.S. DATES WITH WHITESNAKE AND POPEVIL?I'M AFRAID THEY MIGHT NOT EVEN PLAY 90 MIN NOW WITH THOSE OTHER 2 TURKEYS ON THE BILL.I'VE GOT CLOSE SEATS TO TWO SHOWS AND I'M ONLY REALLY THERE FOR THE HOLY PRIEST!
