Excuse me while I inject my opinion here. JP never disrespected Ripper. When Rob returned to the band they play the songs that Rob wrote with them, not others he did not. You don't see Rob asking the band to play his solo stuff do you? That's it! It's out of respect for both angles these songs don't get played.
No one in Priest ever disrepected Tim Owens and he has a voice so talented that I am GLAD he moved on to discover himself and HIS abilities!
