I am not burnt out on listening to it. I love the album, all I am saying is that I am sick of everyone wanting Priest to make another Painkiller, okay, Painkiller was great, but I think it is time to move on. I have read reviews on other sites of AOR and Nostradomus. For AOR they say it sounds too much like Painkiller. For Nostradamus they say it is dissapionting becuase it doesnt sound like Painkiller.
In fact one of my favorite JP songs is One Shot at Glory, I have nothing against the album itself. Go read the threads, read them. I promise you on every thread dealing with any Priest music everyone jumps on the bandwagon. It is like, "Okay I want to look like I know something about Priest, I will just rant and rave about how great Painkiller is." Also, just go and listen to some other Priest albums, Defenders of the Faith or Sin After Sin, I cant name many people who rant and rave over them. They are great albums to. I encourage all fans to listen to every album. I can honesly say I love them all. From Rocka Rolla to Nostradomus, including the Tim Owens years. I really love them all. I think a lot of them are overlooked. Yes, on a few of the albums there are songs I skip over sometimes becuase I really dont like them very much, but I love JPs music, Painkiller included.
