Hey british steel.....yeah..thats all I was saying is that Motorhead is more consistant than Maiden. But don't get me wrong......I am a heavy metal fan more than a hard rock fan and even though I love Motorhead...
I prefer Iron Maiden because I love (1980)Iron Maiden.......(1981)Killers........(1982)The Number Of The Beast.....(1983)Piece Of Mind........(1984)Powerslave....
Those albums are special to me and not that Motorhead doesn't have special albums...its just that I'm an epic heavy metal fan as well............
Songs like Phantom Of The Opera.....Prodigal Son..........Hallowed Be Thy Name......To Tame A Land.....Rime Of The Ancient Mariner..........
I don't think any Iron maiden albums are as good as thier first 5 records. But A Matter Of Life And Death is for me...the next best record that
comes after Powerslave. I wonder what the next Maiden album will sound like? | | british.steel wrote: | | Hey J.D, sinner. i wouldve came on to argue yesterday but internet was down and i went to the Priest concert in cleveland! it was amazing (excuse my spelling im still a little excited)
now on topic, i dont think all the 90s albums were as good as the earlier stuff. But most people just dislike the blaze years because its not dickinson, they had some good songs but overall sucked. No prayer, was obviously not as good as seventh son or any other previous maiden record. and Fear of the dark i can only say i like 2 songs from it so far (judas my guide and Fear of the dark) those are great songs. and i liked Bruce's solo career in the 90's. lol but okay okay...i understand more now, and i can admit that motorhead is more consistent. (that was hard to admit) but i still love Iron Maiden till the day i die, motorhead is good. but i think maiden wins because the good record they put out were top notch, and better than many motorhead albums IMO. |
