I do NOT have an "open mind" and I do NOT think that "Get Into The Spirit" is "heavy ass". I will only accept "true metal" and the Metal God has NOT delivered "true metal". He has delivered us religious hymns. Frosty the snowman and jingle bells are christmas carols,this Wee Three Kings,Oh Emanuel and this hallelujah bullshit he sings are religious hymns and I do not think its cute that he "metal upped" these tracks,I think it is fucking "WEAK". Sorry! LOL!!!!!
I am beginning to believe that we are not going to get "Judas Priest" back after Nostradamus and Winter Songs.....that may be the "poison" that spells disaster for this great band we've known and loved for all these years,think about it? lolAnd why in the hell did he have to use the Halford band name and album for this religious project anyways? Yes ok Christmas is a Christian holiday and is a religious time of year but i am no means a Christian lol i'm pleased i'm not although most Christians i have met are friendly people but almost everyone in the UK alone will celebrate Christmas whether they are religious or not. Went to see Slayer and Megadeth last week in Auckland, great show. Both bands put in a top notch performance although I have to say Slayer were just awesome. Interestingly both bands are also bringing out christmas albums. Megadeths is called Mega Christmas and a Happy New Year and contains rocking versions of Away In A Manger and Good King Wenceslas. Slayers album is called ... On A One Horse Open Slayer and contains a blistering version of Jingle Bells and an insane take on The Little Drummer Boy on which Lombardo dominates proceedings with a drum solo.
