Hell yeah jimmy the key thing for me about Motorhead is thier "consistancy" at writting good albums and not just good for Motorhead should do,good for mass people who like rock/heavy metal. They are #1 at consistant quality song writting album after album and they don't wait 3 or more years to write those albums I agree with you on that. I'm not linking you to my opinion about Iron Maiden,but to me Iron Maiden is they worst band at consistant song writting/albums of quality material. Compared to Motorhead it would be a mear joke to say that Maiden is just as consistant in writting quality songs and putting out quality albums of kick ass material and again this is not to toy with Brian and his likings for Iron Maiden,this is how I thougtht long before he unfortuantely joined our forum,Iron Maiden is just not good at writting quality songs on a consistant basis so again I'll have to say......
The great thing about Motorhead is that they do put out albums on a regular basis. I remember when I was in Canada a year and a half ago and I saw the Motorizer cd at the mall. I was thinking but Kiss Of Death only came out 5 minutes ago. Now, a year and a half later another album is ready. All bands should be like this. Bands blame things like long tours etc being the reason for these extended periods in between albums but thats bullshit, Motorhead are always touring, they've even found the time to make it down here to NZ twice in the last 5 years. Motorhead is an example to all bands as far as having a work ethic goes. So many bands think 20 shows in the US and Canada and 15 in Europe constitutes a world tour and then they take a year off before starting work on the next album, not Motorhead. These guys are legends. Can't wait for the new album.
