Iced Earth's first 2 albums "Iced Earth"(1990) and Night Of The Stormrider(1992)are by FAR the 2 best Iced Earth albums of all,the other albums are in a compleately different style, but for some reason the first 2 albums I really like.
Some of those other bands I mentioned are not pure heavy metal jimmy, some are in a heavy metal/trash style like Hallow's Eve,Razor,Hirax and Deathrow but they still have some heavy metal influences, just mixed with thrash like old Metallica.
If you want any of these cds after you listen to them, let me know I'll burn you them so you don't have to hassle with it ect....
That was a pretty cool song, might look into some of those bands you mentioned.

Running Wild - Black Hand Inn -1994 This reminds me of hints of old Iron Maiden with Running Wild's signature style, but very british heavy metal styled, this album is good except for like 2 songs, but there are 8 tracks that make up an albums worth of worthy british styled heavy metal and for me a tolerable vocalist.
I'm glad I bought this album,a breath of fresh air and a worthy heavy metal album when I am not reaching for Judas Priest,Saxon,Black Sabbath,Motorhead,Dio,(old)Iron Maiden,Exciter,Hallow's Eve,Agent Steel(first album),Razor(Executioner's Song album only)Hirax(A New Age Of Terror LP)Deathrow(Raging Steel album)Iced Earth (first 2 albums only)King Diamond(Fatal Portrait,The Eye,Voodoo & The Puppet Master albums only!)cds to play.
