Huh. Makes complete sense. I read an article long ago about the same problem with the Great Wall. Great shot. Thanks for the clarification.
Off to walk the little dog of the house. Toy version of Nina. Energetic little "bouncy" thing, this one! Could be picked up and eaten by a bunny, though.
Yeah, it was early evening (probably 5 pm local time) when I took that pic. I don't remember it too well, but that section was sealed off (between the wall and the fence) to prevent any further vandalism. As you can see, small chunks of it are missing. The professor told us that many people have taken bits and pieces of it and selling them to tourists.

That is really cool, Vail. Why is nobody walking, though? Early moring? Early evening? Can they walk in what appears to be the fence and the wall? Obviously, as many seemed to have tagged it.

Ah, well...can't complain about my trip there last year. 'Twas awesome, to say the least.

And that is why your not Nostradomus. lol
It would have been a drain on your finances while there anyway. Look at it that way.

*sniff sniff* Why oh why did I decide to study abroad in Berlin last August instead of THIS August?? Would've been totally cool to see JP while in Berlin!!
