Just got a call to tell me that my uncle has pretty much drunk himself to death. He is in hospital with terminal liver cancer and damage. His heart is full of fluid because his liver is screwed and one by one his organs are packing up. What pisses me off is that this is totally self inflicted and now his wife, kids and grandkids are the ones left to suffer. So cruel. So preventable.

I want to thank every single person who had anything to say to me. Yesterday was the hardest part, it should be better from here on out.
I miss the dude like crazy and still can't believe he's gone but he is and there's nothing I can do but move forward. Every single day of this
New Year has sucked. Anger, death, migraines, sickness. I have no choice but to put this behind me. I need to get better mentally and physically.
This will be my last post on anything related to this subject. Here's what's next. My brother called me today and said he went to my uncle's
house and got my mothers ashes. He wants me to take some and help him decide what to do with the rest. Are you serious??? Now!!!
It sucks so bad lately it's becoming comical.
I don't know, she sounds a bit freaked out. How well do you know her and is this normal behaviour for her. any possiblilty she's abusing her meds as well? I think judging anyone in any situation is never good but don't speak to her if she's just going to upset you. If you feel you can speak to her and then not take what she has to say personally then go ahead but if it is going to cut then don't speak to her just yet.

I couldn't even respond and just threw my hands up like "what". She waits a couple of seconds and then smiles and said "I

she yells that she has to talk to me at the gathering and tell me something. I didn't even speak to her inside and didn't go

Any opinions?

I enjoyed that. A bit long, but I could hear the voice and understand what was being sung. I like it so much more than the video before, as it seems lame compared.
I'm not a great person for reviews. I know what I like, don't get into nuances, but I did like that song. [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by jimmyjames from Saturday, January 08, 2011 5:31:58 PM)

Last time they were over here that I know of they were opening for Tool in 02. I missed that show but again I heard they were awesome. The great thing about this show is that they are going to be playing at a bar rather than a concert hall so it will be easy access to stage and bar. As for the outfits, who knows, last time I saw them they were wearing jeans and tshirts. Here is High On Fire, the other band on the bill.

Then your a wise man. You know that you have a tendency to drugs that induce pleasure/anethesia. You avoided the meds that would cause that. You could have taken mega ammounts of Ibuprofen, which will actually do the same thing, only it's hard on the liver to process.
Most Dr.'s are honest, they have to be. To be found guilty of perscription fraud is to loose the license they went to school for years to get.
Sure, there are crooked Dr.'s. need look no further than Michael Jackson's personal physician giving him a drug that should only be used for surgery. They are willing to risk their license for this. Most of those Dr.'s are pill heads themselves so they "feel" for the addict. Bad medicine. [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by Budred from Saturday, January 08, 2011 2:45:52 PM)

Just went to the beach and my bikini bottom line was rubbing against it. I didn't notice until I went for a pee and the scab got pulled clean off. Back to square one with the healing process again. I got home and decided a nice soak in the bath.. Soon as my hiney touched the water I catapulted straight out again with a howl that would scare a lone wolf. Craig saw it and was like 'Whoa! Your ass looks really bad!' I forgot about the saddle sore and turned around to thump him when he added 'that must be hurting like hell' lol.. Talk about how fights get started over miscommunication lol.
And to add insult to injury this morning I was overtaken by a runner... I was on my mountain bike... he just breezed past not even breaking a sweat. He was very pro though and his coach drove past behind h im so we decided that it wasn't so bad lol.

Too bad those things couldn't fix my washer. I got to wait till Sunday to wash anything! Plus unload the clothes that were in the machine when it died. They cant be clean now that I let the hoses drip into the tub. [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by guidogodoy from Friday, December 24, 2010 6:02:59 PM)

That is no small pole and it is held in place by who knows how many lbs of concrete. THAT made me laugh as you could see his skidmarks go right from that massive wooden structure through the fence across the street. Ho ho!
I'll try to get a shot of the really impressive hit down the street. Guys would have been taking their lives in their hands around here turning around for a second go but, man, you aren't kidding about looking for a body part. It looks like they used a metal pole from the dent in cast iron one down the street and I wouldn't be surprised to find a finger in the ditch.
Check out what my closest neighbor did to protect his mailbox. Still, all that and they still whacked out some of the brickwork.

I couldn't agree with you more Metallian! They seem to promote the lazy bastards too, don't they? All the hard workers get is: MORE WORK! Why? Well, I'm told it's because they can count on me to do it correctly, accurately and efficiently. All true, but why the hell don't I get paid more then????
And Spa, yeah, we had one person that I think had 3 moms and 2 dads and several sets of grandparents die before management caught on! People are messed up. How can you lie about stuff like that?

The lax treatment is for workers in key lower positions the company can not function without. They get more play time than any other employee. Afterall, if I miss work due to illness or on a rare occasion weather conditions, that goes against me, but I know other employees in those key labor positions who call in on a regular basis at least once per two week pay period. Truthfully I think they do that to say on benifits and at the same time work.
I gaurentee you if I did that, I'd be out of a job, and rightly so.
Management will put up with more from lower paid key position employees, even though the attendance policy says they would be fired. Just facts of life. [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by The Metallian from Sunday, December 19, 2010 6:44:34 PM)

It may sound like I'm uncaring or unloving, that is far from it. My mother just seems to know how to milk me and then leave me in a state of panic whilst she goes about her life. I'm really tired and drained after this year and I have really had enough.
[joedraper] Monday, December 13, 2010 8:48:37 AM
Loosing four pivotal people in my life in one year, finding out my favourite band is pretty much calling it a day and then to find out that my step father is due to have critical heart surgery when he's not the healthiest person as it is... Oh and lets not forget to top it off that after my mother's frantic panic stricken calls last night she decides to just cut off all telephonic contact which is all I have with her when nobody knows what the fuck is happening. If I need to organize a flight to her at the worst time of the year to fly, babysitters so that Craig can work whilst I go help her arrange a funeral or take care of him if he survives and she just can't even have the decency to give me a 5 minute phonecall... Now lets see, yes, last time I checked I had a few things pissing me off... I just don't get it. I'm so done with all this shit.
I get so pissed at people who are so self centered. Call on you for help and expect you to drop your life at a moments notice and then leave you sitting with your finger up your arse.

Sorry, haven't been on due to 1) Working out a lot more now adays; 2) Starting to write music and practice more so I can get a band together and get a Metal machine going in 2011... So yeah.. I'd much rather have Halford, but Slash ain't bad (At least it's not AXL!). Can't stand Nickleback, either... Anyways.. Idk.. VIP Suite tix, won 'em off the radio.. Wednesday night, we'll see... Most likely will go. I've always wanted to see Ozzy. Wouldn't mind seein' Slash, either. But hey, whatever happens, happens... Still gonna try to see Priest 2x in '11 none-the-less! (Maybe once more, just to make up the absence of Halford from the Ozzy concert!!)

could be that halford is not available then, and slash might be on the road near there at the time. when they reschedule it sucks but it screws up other things opening acts have planed.
